Craven Lea Community House is the home of the Preston Road Community Association; it is also the registered office of the Preston Road Neighbourhood Development Company Ltd.

The Community House has a main hall and a cafe area. The main hall can seat 35 people theatre style and  20 workshop style and is an ideal venue for smaller private meetings, small group activities, Children's Birthday parties etc,and is available for hire 7 days a week, (day-time and evenings) at very reasonable prices - interested, give Jennie a call on 01482 714458. 

All entrances to the house are floor level allowing easy access for prams, wheelchairs and motorised buggies and toilet facilities are at ground level and DDA compliant, providing easy access for everyone.

The Jessie Jackson Craft Club meets every Tuesday afternoon at the House.

The Endeavour indoor Bowls club meet every other Monday afternoon, the next meeting being Monday 19th July- why not come along and join them, try your hand at bowling the woods and play a bit of bingo during the break - it doesn't matter if you've never played before; they're a friendly bunch and they will show you what to do.

Preston Road Community Association Committee meetings -date and time of next meeting to be confirmed. The majority of these meetings are for Committee Members only but  at least twice a year we hold an 'open' meeting to which everyone living on the Preston Road Estate is welcome.
