FREE COURSES AND TRAINING!

For those out of work we run free, basic OCN accredited courses in horticulture and gardening. We can also help you to improve your chances of finding work as we provide one – to – one support to help you with CVs, applications forms, interview skills etc. We offer an informal, relaxed training environment out in the fresh air with some classroom work involved. VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

We could not survive without our hard working and dedicated team of volunteers. Volunteers can work on the allotments, the woodland or both. You will gain invaluable experience in gardening skills or  woodland management as well as meeting new friends and becoming part of a well  respected team. 

We run volunteer sessions on Wednesday and Thursday each week.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact the office for a chat or visit the site and speak to Jane Burdass, Horticulture Manager and have a look around.
