The exhibition, sponsored by NPS Humber Limited, is titled ‘Drawing board’, and illustrates the creative process involved in being an architect. Featuring drawings and notes by local architects, the work will highlight the ideas explored before a design reaches its final stages. Taking part in the exhibition are members of the ‘Doorstep networking group’ - Architects from Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North and North-East Lincolnshire who meet regularly at sessions co-ordinated by Arc. This year’s exhibition follows on from ‘Architecture on our doorstep’, an exhibition held last year at the centre in Hull that attracted nearly 200 visitors and then went on to be shown at other venues across the city. The exhibition is free to attend and will run from 6-17 December 2010 at Arc, open from Monday-Friday (excluding Tuesdays) between 10am-4pm. The exhibition will then go on to tour around venues in the Hull and Humber region throughout 2011
